Finał Strefy V w Jesiennych Biegach Przełajowych

The 18 th September was a big day for all primary and secondary students from school in Wojborz. They geared up for the annual Sports Day event. All students had been preparing for this day in their P.E lessons and we were so excited that it had finally arrived. We also invited schools from Nowa Ruda, Klodzko, Scinawka and Bozkow to take part in our cross-country race. Students ran together according to their age. The distance was also fitted to the student’s age. The youngers had the distance of 100 m and the oldest 1500m. After the warm-up and familiarization with cross-country line, the race started. Firstly, students from first, second and third grade were running. After them it was time for students from fourth, fifth and sixth grade, secondary school students, high school students and finally adults. A lot of teachers and inhabitants from Wojborz came to see this cross country race. This Sport Day was organized thanks to parents and teachers from school in Wojborz. The whole cross-country race was managed by Mr Bogdan Ogrodowczyk who is a headmaster at school in Wojborz. He reminded all students about fair play and advantages of running for people’s body. All of the participants did their best to win the game. The headmaster gave prizes as well as medals to the winners and congratulated them. The spectators gave a big hand and cheered happily for the winners. The winners smiled proudly when the teachers took them photographs. All of the pupils were on cloud nine. It was a memorable, red letter day for them.
